  • Each TransPorter® unit comprises a sterile peel pouch containing a swab applicator used to collect the sample and a tube containing transport medium into which the swab applicator is placed after sampling

  • Swabs are in direct contact with fluid-filled sponge, which acts as a moisture reservoir for the 1mL of liquid transport media that is designed to stay in place during use
