  • ColActive® PLUS Ag Powder should not be used on third-degree burns or on patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to animal-derived collagen, silver or any other ingredient listed
  • ColActive® PLUS Ag Powder is made with the same properties as ColActive® PLUS Powder and contains silver chloride as an effective antimicrobial intended to prevent colonization within the product to help minimize the risk of infection
  • Once a ColActive® PLUS Ag Powder is in place, the EDTA removes zinc to inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMP)
  • This unique combination helps the wound maintain a consistent pH level without altering plasma proteins, growth factors and other cell types key for healing
  • Prevents the formation of and breaks up existing biofilm
  • Uses a fish-based collagen source, as opposed to bovine, which helps attract harmful excess MMPs from wound
  • EDTA in the dressing deactivates MMPs by binding with zinc ions
