  • BD™ Difco™ Adjuvants are used in immunological studies with laboratory animals. (Not intended for human or therapeutic use)
  • Suspension of 5 mg M. butyricum in a mixture of paraffin oil and an emulsifying agent
  • Use Incomplete Freund adjuvant to avoid the use of acid-fast bacilli; however, the antibody response is not as marked as with the complete adjuvant
  • Once injected, they provide a pool of emulsified antigen at the injection site and allow the antigen to be released over an extended period of time
